Finally, the big news we’ve all been waiting for . . . the contest for the diy Blog Cabin Coastal Retreat in Waldoboro, Maine (follow link to register for your chance to win) has gone live.  

The 2012 diy Network Blog Cabin features a 51 acre farm with a cape-style farm house and 2-story barn620 Dutch Neck Road in Waldoboro, Maine. This is great publicity for Northern New England and will hopefully encourage more folks “from away” to come check out our historic towns and villages.

Hopefully, the new owners will live in the home and not put it up for sale as the winners of 2011 HGTV Dream Home in Stowe, Vermont have done.
